Born 03/05/2015

Old Mountain Farm Cernunnos VEV 89 x TX Twincreeks RM Rainflower ++V+ 83

Trillium left our herd for a while, but is now back, which is a good thing. Trillium's dam Rainflower is now with Tanya Callison at Gabhran Creek; Rainflower's second fresh udder is incredible! Please click here to go to Trillium's page, including linear appraisal scores, progeny, milk production data (if available) and pedigree.

Castle Rock Firn

Born 03/11/2015

Castle Rock Rainmaker x SGCH AGS CRF Castle Rock Blizzard 1*M VEEE 91

I really hope I have my act together to get a serious photo of Firn this next year. So far I will report that she is small, but wide and still dairy, with dairy skin, coat, and ribbing. She isn't going anywhere for a while! It doesn't hurt that she is very friendly, either! I do have some candid photos of her, which just turned to be photos of head/eyes/nose. As I said, she is friendly! Thanks yet again to Sarah Hawkins of Castle Rock Farm. Please click here to go to Firn's page, including (as available) additional pictures, milk production records, progeny, and pedigree.

Oak Apple Cavatina

Oak Apple Cavatina and Camanna GD Moonlight Opera
A young Cavatina with dam, SGCH Camanna GD Moonlight Opera VEEE 90

Born 04/10/2015

Old Mountain Farm Cernunnos VEV 89 x Camanna GD Moonlight Opera VEEE 91

Yet another promising doeling that seems to be similar to her mom at the same age. I know you've heard it before; we'll try to get better photos this next year. Please click here to go to Cavatina's page, including (as available) additional pictures, milk production records, progeny, and pedigree.

Oak Apple Mocha

Born 06/26/2015

Old Mountain Farm Cernunnos VEV 89 x Sugar Moon V Java Pepper +V+E 86

Again, no picture, although I could have put up a photo of a younger Oak Apple Boudicea (her half sister) and even I would have a hard time telling them apart. I hope that she freshens with her dam's udder! Please click here to go to Mocha's page, including (as available) additional pictures, milk production records, progeny, and pedigree.

Oak Apple Vivace

Born 06/28/2015

Proctor Hill Farm TO Go Daddy EEE 92 x SG Old Mountain Farm Fast Tempo EVEV 90

Vivace and Presto (her brother) aren't going anywhere for a while. Lovely length of body and rump structure. Another exceptional doeling that I wish we had a good photo of. She is very similar in general appearance to her dam, which I find interesting (and exciting). Vivace has been successful in the show ring (like her brother Oak Apple Presto). Vivace received her junior leg last summer at the Leila Berry Memorial show. Click here to go to Vivace's page, including (as available) additional pictures, milk production records, progeny, and pedigree.

Born 02/24/2016

Old Mountain Farm Cernunnos VEV 89 x Piddlin Acres W Taboo VEEE 90

Amelia was one of the most eye-catching kids this last year. As a kid she excelled in uphill general appearance and structure. She has gone through a bit of a gangly disorganized phase, which she is outgrowing. Click here to go to her page.

Born 02/24/2016

Old Mountain Farm Cernunnos VEV 89 x SGCH Camanna GD Moonlight Opera VEEE 90

Buffa and Seria are full sisters to Cavatina, so it should be obfious tht we liked this breeding enough to repeat it. Opera is our best milker, and finished her championship with minimal showing. All of these kids are similar in type. They have striking general appearance and structure. Click here to go to her page.

Oak Apple Kireina

Born 02/25/2016

Kireina is a promising young doe who should have an incredible udder. She is a bit more angular than her dam. Click here to go to her page.

We repeated this cross as we liked what we got, and Lily does not disappoint! She is level in the chine and has a good chest and rump. Click here to go to her page.

Born 03/24/2016

Old Mountain Farm Cernunnos VEV 89 x Camanna RM Painted Lady 6*M VEV+ 87

When Ceridwen and her full sister Damozel were born, we couldn't decide between the two, so for now they both stay. Their older full sister, Oak Apple Boadicea is doing quite nicely. Click here to go to her page.

Oak Apple Ginette

Born 05/05/2016

Proctor Hill Farm TO Go Daddy EEE 92 x Old Mountain Farm Anahid +V+V 86

This kid is another eye-catching doeling from last year. She is long and increases in width from front to back on top view, almost more than any other kid I have seen. Click here to go to her page.
