| Castalia is the product of two exceptional goats, and a linebreeding on her dam, the lovely SGCH Spring Fever Calista VEEE 90. Castalia has had a difficult start to her productive life. She freshened for the first time with a doeling that had been dead for a bit--perhaps she had been bumped by a herdmate; we'll never know. A single buckling made it with some difficuly. We hope this next year will be easier for her. Even with these difficulties Castalia's udder is well-shaped with excellent medial, teat placement, udder texture, and ease of milking.
