We were pretty excited about this little buckling. Yes, he is out of a first freshener--but his dam Nimue has very solid structure and a very nice FF udder. One judge commented that Nimue's rump structure was the best she had seen on the Nigerians showing up to that point, and our linear appraiser commented that her shoulder assembly was the best seen on a Nigerian. VERY high praise for little Nimue. She could change with maturity, but we are liking Nimue so far. A lot.
Avalon's sire Zeke has an exceptionally wide rump, and we are liking the rump width and thurl height on this nice little guy. He has figured out his purpose in life, and we are expecting kids from him in 2024.
