Opera was a very noisy goat when she was younger, which may have been the reason why we were able to purchase her. Fortunately, unless there is a real reason for concern, she has become much less vocal. Her vocalizing ability probably also probably played a role in how she got her name. She is a dream to milk; she lets her milk down quickly and easily, is productive even on grass hay, and holds her lactation well. And she has good conformation! We have kept four daughters (for now). It's hard not to keep them! Opera is the reason we purchased Opera's sire Proctor Hill Farm TO Go Daddy from our friend Tembi Buckingham of Sugar Pine.
